The only comment I wish to make is that these drugs -- abortion in general -- should be entirely illegal to begin with. Getting medical care while taking high-risk medication is not the biggest issue with taking an abortifacient, considering that a child is being killed. Last Rights, Scapulars, and Nursing School

            The latest in my nursing school news.      I started classes at the beginning of September. First was Anatomy and Physiology, which was done at the end of September. We then began Basic Nursing, part of which includes ethics, legal aspects and culture/religion.      When we were on the subject of ethics, I brought up the question of refusing to do something that would violate one's conscience. Specifically, I wanted to know if there would be any legal repercussions if I, as a student nurse, refused to do something at a clinical. My specific example was birth control, the only pertinent one for the context.      It boiled down to, no, nothing would happen if I was asked to do something that I wasn't comfortable doing (such as distribute birth control) and refused to do it. It is, of course, more than a matter of comfort, but I didn't press the issue; there was no need.     ...

     "You shall not kill!" Reminds us Our Lord in the Gospel.      For the past fifty years, a culture of death, violence, hatred and destruction has triumphed around us. Since the laws authorizing contraception and abortion. Since hedonism and utilitarianism replaced God and morality.      In 1979 (40 years ago), when receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, Mother Teresa, Saint Teresa of Calcutta, declared: "The greatest destroyer of peace today is the crime against the innocent unborn child. If a mother can kill her own child, in her own womb, what keeps you and me from killing each other? (...) But today we are killing millions of unborn children.
